I've
been an actor for 40 years and I have loved every minute of
it. I have done some work which has been very prestigious
at the National Theatre and in the West End of London and
I have also done a lot of work which you would just call bread
and butter work. Nothing special about it but it pays the
rent.
I've had
a great deal of luck and worked with some of my heroes. Peter
Sellers being one of them and a wonderful slice of good fortune
was to be in Trevor Griffiths play Comedians which a lot of
people would argue was the greatest play written in the English
language in the second half of the twentieth century.
Most recently
I have been in a episode of Hotel
Babylon due for release Feb 2007.
I don't
know whats coming up next but whatever it is I am looking
forward to it and I am sure it will be fun.
That's
the wonderful thing about this business, you keep meeting
new people and no two days are ever the same.
I
spent the early part of 2006 in a tour of a play about Brian
Clough the Nottingham Forest football manager. It was a wonderful
time with a tremandous cast. It was written by Stephen Lowe
and directed by Alan Dossor.
I live
in Devon and am also a brewer having recently started the
Warrior Brewing Company with my wife Jude. We produce four
real ales and although my brewery is still in the early stages
of production, my beer is being served in lots of pubs and
clubs in and around Exeter.
